March 24, 2020

Dear Alamo Heights Families,

Alamo Heights ISD is extending the period of time that we will close our facilities and provide our Continuous Learning for our students through Friday, April 24th.  This decision is made in coordination with all Bexar County ISDs in order to ensure the health, wellness and safety of our students, staff and families. During this time, district and campus offices and facilities will remain closed. Staff members can always be reached by email, as all of our employees are working remotely during this time.

We will continue to offer our Mule Meal Drive-Thru Pick-Up Service and Delivery Service to our qualifying families. An updated message with new details will be sent to those families later today. Bexar County’s recent Stay Home, Work Safe directive does allow for families to pick up food as designated at Alamo Heights Junior School.  The directive also allows for our families to pick up supplies and devices as planned tomorrow at Cambridge and Woodridge Elementary Schools.

We will continue to distribute technology devices as needed to our district families, so that they can continue to engage in the AHISD Continuous Learning Plan. If parents find that they need to request a mobile device, we ask that you fill out a request at bit.ly/AHISDdevice.

We will continue to keep you updated with any new developments on our website, through direct email and on our social media channels.  We appreciate your support as we strive to make the best decisions around our student’s health and well-being.

Stay well,

Dana
