September 30, 2019 - Community play area is complete.     August 29, 2019 - New play area and track are complete.  New staff parking is open across Ogden. Community play area is slated to be complete in September.       June 18, 2019 - Portables are gone and work has commenced for the new play area and playing field/track.    April 30, 2019 - The first grade class made the construction team a banner, gift bags, and cheered them on to the finish!  The building is complete and teachers are moving in.  Work continues on the landscaping in front of the new Fine Arts Building.  Portable have been removed so work can commence on the new play area and playing field/track.      March 22, 2019 - All exterior doors and windows have been installed.  Concrete floors have been polished in Art Classrooms and corridors.  Vinyl flooring and mirrors have been installed in Orchestra and Music Classrooms.  Acoustical panels have been installed in all classrooms.  Millwork has started to be installed in all spaces.  Tile backsplashes and feature walls are in place.  Ceiling-mounted power reels are installed in Art Classrooms.              February 8, 2019 - ID'Hanis block feature wall has been installed.  Dry wall and roof work continues. Roof top mechanical equipment has been set.             January 9, 2019 -Installation of masonry and a new fire line is underway.  Windows have been installed.  Insulation and gypsum board are being installed in classroom spaces.          December 2, 2018 - Roof work has commenced on the Fine Arts Building.  Exterior waterproofing and insulation are being installed.  Interior metal stud framing is underway.  Scaffolding is erected and brickwork is scheduled to start soon.         December 2, 2018 - Canopy framing is underway.           October 29, 2018 - Steel framing and interior CMU wall construction have commenced.    October 29, 2018 - Landscaping along Townsend and Cambridge Oval is complete.     September 29, 2018 - The concrete slab has been poured for the Fine Arts Building and steel will be erected in October 2018. Cambridge teachers, parents, and staff have been heavily involved in the design of the new playground.  A community meeting was held the evening of Monday, October 23, 2018, to share information and gather input from the Cambridge community.  The Cambridge playground and other campus upgrades have come before the AHISD Board of Trustees during several board meetings.
