David D. Hornberger was first elected to the AHISD Board of Trustees in 2016 and volunteers extensively with Alamo Heights schools. He served as Board President for the 2020-2021 & 2023-2024 school years and has also previously held the positions of assistant secretary, secretary, and vice president.

Over the years, Hornberger has served on the District Education Advisory Committee, volunteered with the AH Business Incubator since its inception, launched and continues to coach the AH 7on7 Football summer program, served as an ex-officio director to the AH School Foundation, and established and led a bible study for AHHS athletes.

Professionally, Hornberger is a principal with Glass Wealth Management Co., LLC, an investment advisor firm registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission. He graduated from The University of Texas School of Law and from Rice University, where he earned a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering and lettered in football. Prior to attending law school, Hornberger was employed full-time by AHISD and worked closely with Coach Gaylard Fenley. He and his wife, Catherine, are both proud supporters of Texas public schools, and their six children will follow in their footsteps in attending AHISD from kindergarten through high school.

Brian C. Hamilton was initially elected to the Board of Trustees in 2018 and was re-elected to the Board in 2022.

Hamilton is a native of the Dallas area and graduated from Mesquite Poteet High School in 1995. In 1999, he received a Bachelor of Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance from Texas A&M University in College Station. In 2002, Hamilton earned a law degree with honors from The University of Texas in Austin.

Hamilton began his professional career as a litigation attorney with an AM Law 100 firm in Dallas. In 2005,he his wife Hilary, moved to San Antonio where he joined the law firm of Pipkin, Oliver & Bradley, LLP. He eventually move to Zachary Holdings, Inc., where he spent twelve years as an in-house attorney. Hamilton is currently the Chief Operating Officer of American Roofing & Metal Co., Inc., a local family-owned commercial and residential roofing contractor. Hamilton and his wife have two children, both of whom attend (and have attended since kindergarten) Alamo Heights ISD schools. Hilary is a 1994 graduate of Alamo Heights High school.

Hamilton previously served for six years on the board of the Alamo Heights School Foundation and was President of that board in 2017-2018. He has also served on the board of the Alamo Heights Little League and his volunteered with the San Antonio Livestock Exposition.

Ty Edwards graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and has been in the investment business for over 30 years. He and his wife, Colette, have been married for 25 years and have two boys: Payton, a graduate from Alamo Heights and Bentley, a Senior at Alamo Heights High School. 

Committed to education, Ty served on the Alamo Heights School Foundation Board, Alamo Heights District Education Advisory Committee (DEAC), the DoSeum Board, St. Luke's Episcopal School Board, and Texas Lyceum. He currently serves on the San Antonio Public Library Foundation Board. Outside of his community service. Ty enjoys running, traveling, and reading.

Hunter KingmanHunter Kingman | Trustee | [email protected]

Current Term: 2024-2025

Hunter Kingman joined the Board in 2024 and previously served on the District Education Advisory Committee (DEAC). Hunter is a graduate of Alamo Heights and is grateful for the impact the district has had on him and his family.

Professionally, Hunter is Vice President - Acquisitions and Development for Hixon Properties, a privately held commercial real estate firm based in San Antonio. He received his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Virginia, and subsequently attained his MBA from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas.

Outside of his Trustee and professional commitments, Hunter is actively involved in multiple other organizations. He is the current Chair of Urban Land Institute - San Antonio, sits on the Executive Committee of Real Estate Council of San Antonio, and is a Board Member of Snack Pak 4 Kids.

Hunter has been married to his wife, Shannon (also and AH graduate), for 17 years, and they have four children. They are active members of Redeemer Presbyterian Church.

Clay PageClay Page | Vice-President | [email protected]

Current Term: 2024-2027

Clay Page was first elected to the board in 2021. He currently serves as Vice President on the Board. He also serves on the Building and Goals & Priority committees. 

Page is a San Antonio native and graduated from Churchill High School. In 1996 he earned a Bachelor of Science in Construction Science from Texas A&M University. He moved to Houston following graduation and eventually met his wide, Laura. They were married in 2002. In 2004, they made their way back to San Antonio and currently reside in Alamo Heights. 

Page currently serves as President and Owner of R.C. Page Construction. He started the company in 2013. He and his wife have two daughters, Darden Page (Class of 2023 AHHS) & Josephine Page (Class of 2025 AHHS). His hobbies include fishing, gold, family time, and watching the Aggies play football. 

The Pages are active members of First Presbyterian Church. He currently serves as Elder on rotation and his wife serves as Deacon on rotation.

Lauren McLaughlinLauren McLaughlin | Trustee |[email protected]

Current Term: 2024-2027

Lauren McLaughlin was honored to be sworn in to serve as a trustee in May 2024. She has previously served as President of the Alamo Heights School Foundation (AHSF), Co-Chair of the District Education Advisory Committee (DEAC), President of the Cambridge Elementary School PTO, Treasurer of the Howard PTO, a parent representative on the District Technology Committee, and Co-Chair of Greater Heights Night (the AHFS's largest fundraising event). Lauren is also an alumna, having attended Howard Early Education Center, Woodridge Elementary School, Alamo Heights Junior School, and having graduated from Alamo Heights High School (where she served as Senior Class President).

Lauren graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with high honors, and then attended Columbia Law School. She practiced in the area of estate planning and estate administration, and was board certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.

Beyond her involvement in the District, Lauren volunteers extensively in the community. She has served on the Boards of San Antonio Susan G. Komen Foundation, Children's Hospital of San Antonio Foundation, the Junior League of San Antonio (Treasurer), the Battle of the Flowers Association (Treasurer), and the National Charity League Rose Chapter (Treasurer; President). She also served on the School Board, including as President, at St. David's Episcopal School.

Lauren has been married to her husband, Pete, for 20 years, and they have four children, two dogs, and a fish. They are active members at Christ Episcopal Church. Lauren is an avid reader, does Wordle every morning, and is happiest with her family and friends nearby.

Carey HildebrandCarey Hildebrand | Secretary | [email protected]

Current Term: 2024-2027

Carey Hildebrand, born and raised in the great city of San Antonio, was elected to the Board of Trustees in 2021. She currently serves on the Audit, Legislative, and Policy committees and is the Board's Secretary.

Hildebrand is a San Antonio native and an Alamo Heights graduate. In 2022, she earned a bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism with an emphasis in Sport and a Minor in Public Relations from the University of Mississippi. 

Hildebrand has served as PTO President for Woodridge and Howard, sat on the Alamo Heights School Foundation Board for over five years, and has volunteered on several school committees.

Carey and her husband, David, have three children - Jackson, a Freshman at Texas Tech University, where he plays football; Harty a Junior, and Hudson a Freshman at Alamo Heights High School.

In her spare time, Hildebrand loves to be at the lake, on a boat fishing with her family, or hunting in the Texas Hill Country. 

The Hildebrands are members of St. Andrews Methodist Church located in the heart of Alamo Heights.
